There is a difference between discipline and punishment when it comes to your children. Anybody can impose a punishment. It takes no leadership qualities at all to “dish” it out. Usually, we punish our kids only when we are angry at what they did. However, it takes a real man to discipline his children. Discipline should be filled with love and concern for the direction of our kid’s lives, not merely focused on our anger about the bad act they just committed.
