Ever have someone so upset with you that they started yelling? I have. What do you do when through no fault of yours, the load arrives late and your receiver is giving you the what for? My natural tendency is to defend myself and get louder as my verbal assailant gets louder. We both try to out-talk the other in order to get our point across. The usual result is hard feelings and maybe a lost customer. I’ve heard of drivers being barred from delivering because of contentions with the shipper. While our reaction is very natural, it’s just the wrong approach for these situations. There is a better way. Would you like to know more?Comment here.
