Missed it by a Mile

When I was in basic training, the government issued a rife to me and then proceeded to teach me how to use it effectively. First, I learned to sight the rifle in so that the barrel lined up well with the target. Then I needed to learn to shoot at these targets from various positions. I kept hearing the phrase, “A miss is as good as a mile.” This meant that even if I almost hit the target, but missed it by only a fraction of an inch: I may as well have missed it by a mile. In many ways, many of us miss our target in life. We aim for wrong goals and spend time and money trying to find better targets. There is a remedy for this and it is a personal one that involves a significant relationship. Would you like to know more? Let us know. Comment here.
