Michigan Girl Dies

A ten-year-old girl in Michigan died after she went into convulsions that no one could explain, except for the fact that bruises on her head and side had been observed. Those investigating were hoping an autopsy would reveal much more. There is a sad history behind this young, defenseless girl’s home life. The Michigan Child Protection Services had removed her from her mom’s home a couple of years earlier after evidence of physical abuse, ranging from two sexual reports, to bleeding and black eyes, to numerous bruises, had been recorded. This kind of abuse should make your heart sink. There is absolutely no excuse for this or any type of abuse. But all too often, physical abuse goes unnoticed and unreported, and too many end up the same as this little child from Michigan. If you are aware of any kind of abuse, please let someone know.
