The Human Conflict

Driver, do you find yourself wanting to do right, but doing wrong? I think it is a natural conflict. When I was a kid, there was a period of time when I was getting spanked every day. Frankly, as much as I didn’t like them, I deserved them because of my actions. One day, I thought, “I’m going to see if I can do everything right today and see if I can get through a day without a spanking.” I was very careful that day, but somewhere during the day I goofed and did something bad. I don’t remember what the offense was, but I can remember the “I blew it” feeling when I got my spanking. As adults, we realize that we frequently don’t do right. Those times can bother our consciences and we may feel disappointed with ourselves. Did you ever feel that you were powerless to do right? Would you like to know how to overcome failure? We can help.
